Ch. Shay Siryno des Fines Terres

We thought about it for a long time whether we really wanted a tomcat of our own... and then we searched, hoped, waited and phoned around for a long time until Shay finally came to live with us in the summer of 2009. I had actually been waiting for months for a tomcat from another pairing from Fines Terres, but when we went to visit Catherine for the first time and this 4-week-old ball of fur headed straight for me, it was love at first sight. We don't regret for a second having taken this charming, lovable tomcat into our home. We are very excited to see how he develops! Shay is still young, but already very strong, with strong bones, thick paws and, in my opinion, an incredibly great expression. He is a very promising tomcat with a sweet character, even at exhibitions he starts purring as soon as you pick him up! Now he has to learn that he is the future boss of the house and that he doesn't have to put up with everything our girls do...We would like to thank Catherine Meyer-Körber (www.lesfinesterres.ch) for this great tomcat and the trust she has placed in us! We will take good care of Shay!

Shay hat sich zu einem sehr kräftigen Kater entwickelt, seine anfängliche Scheu hat er ganz abgelegt, er ist ein richtig gemütlicher Knuddelbär und macht uns viel Freude!

In his previous litters he has brought us only great kittens, as we now know he carries CLASSIC, NONAGOUTI and VERDÜNNUNG :-)

ADDENDUM of 22 April 2016

Since Shay's great dominance has a very negative effect on our Titus' health, we are forced to find a new, wonderful place for our red teddy bear to live....Shay should not be placed with an existing boy and should definitely be allowed to run around freely!!! Shay hat seinen Lebensplatz bei Familie Lechner gefunden, welche den wunderschönen Buben gleich bei ihrem ersten Besuch ins Herz geschlossen , und keine Mühe gescheut hat , ihm die Umplatzierung so angenehm als nur irgend möglich zu machen ! ALLERHERZLICHSTEN DANK DER GANZEN FAMILIE!!! Nun ist bereits eine Woche verstrichen und wir haben ausnahmslos jeden Tag Berichte, Fotos und Filme von einem sehr zufriedenen Shay erhalten, was uns einfach nur endlos glücklich macht....Er lebt nun als alleiniger King in einem riesigen Haus mit tollem grossen Garten und 2 halbjährige Hauskatzen Mädchen leisten ihm zusätzlich Gesellschaft :-) Was will man mehr....

Even though relocations are always difficult, that doesn't mean that we "dumped" our beloved animals. Anyone who knows us knows how much we love ALL of our animals... Relocations ALWAYS only happen for the benefit of the individual cats, but also of the existing group of cats....Shay is doing well and Titus is also much more relaxed, and we really hope that we will be able to have more babies from my darling next year....
